Join us for a grasslands hike at Wycliffe Butte guided by the Grasslands Conservation Council of BC (GCC), BC Institute of Agrologists (BCIA), the Nature Trust of BC (NTBC), Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC), the East Kootenay Invasive Species Council (EKISC), and the Province of BC.
When: June 17, 2024, 9 – 11am mountain time
Where: Wycliffe Butte Trailhead, Stirton Road, Wycliffe/Kimberley BC. Meet at the Stirton Road parking lot.
What: First we meet in the Stirton RD parking lot. We then embark on an easy to moderate 4km hike to the top of the first Butte and back, with several informative stops along the way. Learn from top experts about the importance of grasslands, invasive species, management of the Wycliffe Conservation Corridor, and more.
Bring: Water, snacks, and weather appropriate gear
