Join the District of Summerland and the Grasslands Conservation Council of BC to learn more about the important role of healthy grasslands in a changing climate and one of the major threats to them: weeds!

Through this interactive walk, participants will learn about grasslands, the trails redevelopment project and how to identify three common weeds and strategies to control them. The walk will end at the start of an easy trail if people want to explore more of the park.
Meet at Giant’s Head Mountain lower parking lot (9296 Milne Road). Please bring sunscreen, a hat, good walking shoes and a reusable water bottle.
